Core Values

1. BIBLICAL AUTHORITY: We believe the Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God and our final authority for all Christian faith and life.

2. WORSHIP: We are committed to expressing our love to God in all that we say, think, and do because He is worthy of all honor and praise.

3. PRAYER:We pray depending on God with confidence and expectance. We believe that prayer is the decisive blow in spiritual warfare, and ministry is the act of harvesting the results.

4. DISCIPLESHIP:
 A. Evangelism – We strive to reach the lost, unchurched, irreligious, disillusioned, and skeptical with the gospel of Jesus Christ so they will see, hear, and understand what it means to be a child of the Living God.
 B. Edification – We lead believers into a deeper personal walk with God through worship, prayer, Biblical instruction, and ministry involvement. 
C. Equipping – We seek to multiply ourselves by mobilizing competent, surrendered, and Christ-centered champions to minister the Word of God to the world.

5. AUTHENTIC AND LOVING RELATIONSHIPS:
A. Compassion and Caring – We love unconditionally, listen with sensitivity, and assist the poor, sick, unlearned, addicted, lonely, helpless, and hurting.
B. Community – We believe accountability, a sense of belonging, personal care, and spiritual growth happen best with relationally connected believers.

6. CULTURAL RELEVANCE:
 A. Practical Teaching – We focus on addressing the needs of people in ways they consider "helpful." We adapt our ministry to current needs and trends in American life, without compromising Biblical absolutes.
 B. Diversity – We celebrate the differences found in the South Bay and are a church for all peoples.

7. MISSIONS: We believe that every believer is called into full time ministry by God and we are intent on taking the Gospel of Christ across the street and around the world.
